BoSox Banter gives way to Sox and Pinstripes

All great things don’t have to come to an end. This will be my last post on BoSox Banter. The reason why? Sox and Pinstripes (http://www.soxandpinstripes.com) – the blog where readers discuss, debate and learn about all things Red Sox, Yankees and baseball – has received such a tremendous response since Vince and I debuted it in mid-February, I am shifting the full focus of my blogging time on the new site.

I know that many of you who were BoSox Banter regulars have already moved to Sox and Pinstripes, and we appreciate your participating. If you read this message, feel free to visit Sox and Pinstripes are become a regular. Hope to see you there!

Sox and Pinstripes blog debuts

Ah, the wonders of the Internet. There was a time when, as a baseball fan, you were limited to talking and reading about the game, and your favorite team, only when you receiving the morning newspaper and met another person who shared your passion. Now, thanks to modern technology, you can visit as many blogs and web sites as you want to read about, discuss and learn about baseball and the Red Sox.

Since last September, BoSox Banter has developed a loyal following, one that I greatly appreciate. My interest in blogging, and my passion for baseball and the Red Sox, has led me to create another blog – this one with Yankees fan Vince, who we all know from this blog and Ian Browne’s Brownie Points blog at RedSox.com.

Today marks the official debut of Sox and Pinstripes (http://www.soxandpinstripes.com). It is a forum for Red Sox and Yankees fans to discuss, debate and learn about all things Red Sox, Yankees and baseball. You will find a comprehensive list of links about all three subjects. It will certainly be a site you will want to visit on a daily basis, as we will have daily postings and even original articles and guest columns.

I will let you visit Sox and Pinstripes to learn more about the blog. Vince and I are excited about the venture, and hope that you will become a regular visitor and poster. As for BoSox Banter, please continue to visit here on a daily basis as well. I will have daily postings here that are different from my postings on Sox and Pinstripes. Writing is a passion for me. I do it for a living. Baseball is a passion, too, as now is blogging. I appreciate your support of this blog, and hope to see you here and at Sox and Pinstripes on a daily basis.
